Step 1:Go to your Project's Smart Register. Find your project and click on project name. If you have a lot of projects, you can use the search feature to find your project.

Step 2:
Once you've reviewed all of your submittals and are ready to export, click on 'Export' and select the 'BIM 360' option.

Step 3:Select BIM 360 Submittals. Out of the two options shown, select 'Send project submittals to BIM 360 Submittals' and click on 'Submit'.

Step 4:Authorize AutoSpecs access to your account in BIM 360 Submittals.
Once you click on submit, you will be redirected to BIM 360. If a BIM 360 login page shows up, login to the account with your username and password. Once successfully logged in, you will be shown a page to authorize AutoSpecs access to your BIM 360 account. Click on "ALLOW".

Step 5:Choose the BIM 360 project.
Choose your 'Account Name', 'Project Name' and 'Submittal Status'.

Step 6:Choose the submittal groups.
Select the submittal groups you want to export and click on 'Apply Filters'.
FYI: 'Action and Informational', 'Closeout Submittals' etc. are referred to as submittal groups in AutoSpecs.

Step 7:
Choose the CSI Divisions.
Select the CSI Divisions you want to export and click on 'Apply Filters' . You can either go with all CSI Divisions or select specific CSI Divisions to export to BIM 360 Submittals.

Step 8:Converting submittals to BIM 360 format.
Choose the submittals you want to export to BIM 360 by checking on the respective boxes. You can also select all the submittals by clicking on top left checkbox. Click on 'Convert to BIM 360 Format' to continue.

You can understand the export status of the submittal from the "Export Status" column.
An orange color icon indicates the submittal is not yet exported to BIM 360 Submittals.

A green color icon indicates the submittal has already been exported to BIM 360 Submittals from AutoSpecs. Exporting again will overwrite what is already available in BIM 360 Submittals.

Step 9:Review and Export submittals.
Submittals have been converted from AutoSpecs format to the BIM 360 format. The content you see in this screen is how you would see content in a BIM 360 Submittal.

Verify all the submittals to make sure this is how you want submittals to look like in BIM 360. Among all the columns, make sure you are fine with Spec Sub Section, submittal title and submittal type. If any changes are required in the submittal types, contact Pype Support.

Once you review and are satisfied with all the data you see in this screen, Click on 'Export to BIM 360' to export and continue.

Step 10:Submittals exported to BIM 360 successfully.
Once all the submittals are exported to BIM 360 Submittals, a confirmation message will be displayed saying - 'Successfully Exported all selected submittals to BIM 360'.

You can see the change of icon in export status column from orange to green.

A green icon indicates the submittal was exported successfully. An orange icon would indicate that there was some problem in exporting the submittal. If you notice any orange icons in this screen, contact Pype Support to resolve the problem.

Step 11:View all the exported submittals in BIM 360.
Click on 'Check in BIM 360' if you want to see all the exported submittals in BIM 360.

Step 12:Your exported submittals are now available in BIM 360.

You can now see all of your exported submittals in 'BIM 360 Submittals. Continue to manage all the submittals life cycle in BIM 360 to complete your project successfully.
