Before you start creating your Turnover Package, please keep in mind to keep the size limit between 1 - 2 GB to ensure that the packages are generated successfully.

First, find the project you would like to work in. You can search for your project using the Search Projects box on the right-hand side of the projects page.

To create a turnover package, click on the Turnover Package tab from the left side and select Add Turnover Package. You can also select Generate Turnover Package from the Closeout Submittals page.

First give your new package a name. The name must be different from any existing packages.

Now select which documents you would like to include in this package by clicking the checkbox next to the submittals. You have the option to include only Submittals With Documents, only Submittals without Documents, or both. This option can be found to the right-hand side of the page, above the list of submittals. Once you've made your decisions, click Next.

Next, choose how the folders and files in your Turnover Package will be organized. You can choose from several pre-made organizational templates, or you can always create your own template by selecting the Customize your Template option.

After choosing your template, the next page is for customizing your folder structure. You can drag and drop files, add new folders, and upload documents from your computer. Make sure to save your changes by clicking the Save button at the top of the page. Next, click Continue.

Next, customize your cover page, table of contents, and slip sheets of your turnover package. Visit this article for more information about how to customize your turnover package.

Once you have completed your customization, select Generate Turnover Package. You will receive an email that will allow you to access and download your Turnover Package once it has finished generating. It is safe to leave the page, Closeout does not need to stay open while the package is generating.

NOTE: Before you generate, we recommend 1 - 2 GB for all turnover packages for the most optimal results. For file sizes above the recommended, please create multiple smaller packages to accommodate to your needs.

You will receive an email that your Turnover Package has been generated. Click on the Download button in the email to download your package.

NOTE: The Download link in the email expires after 7 days. Make sure you download your package within that time frame. A note is included beneath the download button indicating exactly when it will expire.
