Step 1: Log in to Pype AutoSpecs.

Step 2: Find the project you want to work in, and go to the Smart Register. In the Smart Register, you will select Upload and then Create New Version.

Step 3: Choose a name for the New Version and select Continue.

Step 4: Now, you will upload the specs from your computer. You can drag-and-drop the file from your desktop or select "Browse from my computer". Once you've selected your file click Upload, then Validate, and then select Generate Submittals.

Step 5: Once your specs are run and a submittal log is generated, go to the Smart Register and select Spec Versions, then Copy Submittals.

Step 6: Select a version you want to copy submittals from and a version you want to copy the submittals to. Then, select Next.

Step 7: Here, you will select which submittals to copy over. The left panel is where submittals will be listed from the version you are copying from. The right panel is where submittals will be listed in the version you are copying to.

Submittals highlighted in yellow are submittals that already exist in the version you are copying to that you can overwrite by copying over (see below).

Submittals highlighted with pink represent submittals that do not yet exist in the version you are copying to (see below).

You can filter by Division, Spec Section, Submittal Group, and Submittal Type on this page as well.

Step 8: Once you check off all the submittals you want to copy over, click Copy, then Save. The copied submittals will be highlighted with purple in the right panel.

*NOTE- If you copied over the wrong submittal(s), you can reverse this action by selecting Reset. The Reset option will only work if you have not clicked Save yet.

Step 9: Once you have copied over all the submittals and Saved your work, select Close. Then, you can go to the Smart Register to see changes reflected.
